1785 Nova Constellatio Copper. Crosby 3-B, W-1895. Rarity-2. CONSTELLATIO

1785 Nova Constellatio Copper. Crosby 3-B, W-1895. Rarity-2. CONSTELLATIO, Pointed Rays, Large Date. MS-62 BN (NGC). Glossy chocolate brown with lovely aesthetic appeal for the grade. Well struck, with good detail on the eye and other design elements. Some old encrustation is seen within the interstices of the design, but it's harmless overall. A tiny rim abrasion is noted left of the date. A classic early American type, here offered in very desirable grade. Provenance: From the Winslet Collection. PCGS# 813. NGC ID: 2AZ3.
