1791 Washington Small Eagle Cent. Musante GW-17, Baker-16, W-10630.

1791 Washington Small Eagle Cent. Musante GW-17, Baker-16, W-10630. Copper. UNITED STATES Edge. MS-64 BN (PCGS). CAC. Nice walnut brown patina with traces of faded mint orange color that are most pronounced along the right obverse border. The surfaces are hard and frosty, and also show hints of lilac-blue undertones as they rotate into direct lighting. Striking detail is sharp in most areas, and there are no singularly mentionable blemishes as perhaps one should expect for a Choice Mint State coin with CAC approval. A popular issue as an early coinage proposal, just barely predating the establishment of the first U.S. Mint. Provenance: From the Emerald Coast Collection. Earlier from Heritage's CSNS Signature Auction of April 2014, lot 3863. PCGS# 705. NGC ID: 2B73. Click here for certification details from PCGS.

Estimate:£0.74
