1794 Franklin Press Token. W-8850. Rarity-1. Plain Edge. MS-63 BN (PCGS). Boldly struck even in the center of the reverse, scarce unbroken obverse die state. Both sides are toned in handsome medium brown with traces of original mint color faded down to golden-brown here and there around the obverse periphery. This type is a popular British Conder token - Middlesex, D&H-307a - that has been adopted by U.S. collectors owing to the Benjamin Franklin connection.
