1794 Liberty Cap Half Cent. C-9. Rarity-2. VG-8 (PCGS).

1794 Liberty Cap Half Cent. C-9. Rarity-2. VG-8 (PCGS). Manley Die State 2.0, Fuhrman Die State 2. Dark charcoal-olive copper and mahogany surfaces are rough and granular overall with a few pin scratches on the portrait, these features being not at all unusual for an early date half cent at this grade level. More significant is a thin scrape low in the right obverse field. Wear obscures much of the detail on the reverse, but the obverse retains a bold portrait, date, and word LIBERTY. Provenance: From the Warwick Collection, assembled from the 1930s through the 1960s. PCGS# 1003. NGC ID: 2223. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
