1795 Flowing Hair Half Dollar. O-121, T-2. Rarity-4+. Y/Star, Two Leaves. EF-40 (NGC). Tompkins Die Stage 2/1. This handsome-looking piece is warmly toned in a blend of mauve, pewter and olive-gray patina that reveals a gently speckled appearance under magnification. The strike is ideally centered and universally well executed, allowing the overall design to remain bold in the presence of light wear.
