Unique in the world, the also-called “Caribbean blue stone” is mined only from the mountains of the Dominican Republic. This rarity is explained by its particular volcanic formation process, which makes it even more precious and coveted. When carved as a sphere, each piece seems to have captured a bit of Caribbean sea foam inside.
