1804 Draped Bust Half Cent. C-13. Rarity-1. Plain 4, Stemless Wreath.

1804 Draped Bust Half Cent. C-13. Rarity-1. Plain 4, Stemless Wreath. MS-63+ BN (PCGS). Manley Die State 2.0, Fuhrman Die State 2. Lustrous and frosty surfaces with faded rose-red color mingling with antique golden-brown and powder blue toning. Obverse spots are noted at Liberty's shoulder and in the upper right field, but this is a boldly struck and virtually appealing near-Choice example that would do particularly well as a collector's Draped Bust half cent in a Mint State type set. Provenance: From the Alan J. Harlan Collection. Earlier from Heritage's Long Beach Signature Auction of June 2019, lot 3338. PCGS# 1063. NGC ID: 222F. Click here for certification details from PCGS. Image with the PCGS TrueView logo is obtained from and is subject to a license agreement with Collectors Universe, Inc. and its divisions PCGS and PSA.
