Ames of Springfield, Massachusetts in 1838 to go with U.S. martial arms of the day, body has brass loops for straps with triangular strap swivels, brass top with three screws and internal plunger and correct graduated spout with 'N.P. Ames' and '1838' markings.Measurements: Height: 9 1/8 in. x Width: 4 in. x Depth: 1 3/4 in. Condition: Good vintage condition with some wear and minor dents, some pitting to metal.
