1856 "Hidalgos" Mazatlán. 1r. Yellow, strips of three and four, some stamps close or cut into at bottom, of very little significance given the rarity of this rate, on cover from Culiacán to Mazatlán dated 1858 (July 25), paying 7r. for 1½ ounces beyond 16 leagues. The strip of four is a very scarce used multiple. Cert. MEPSI (2026). Scott 2.
