1859 Indian Cent. Snow-PR2. Proof-65 Ultra Cameo (NGC).

1859 Indian Cent. Snow-PR2. Proof-65 Ultra Cameo (NGC). Gorgeous quality for this important single year type coin and the only Deep/Ultra Cameo example certified across PCGS and NGC. Furthermore the Gem grade is always a delight and seldom offered. The strike is sharp throughout, with strong contrast between the frosted devices and mirrored reflective fields. A splendid, jewel-like example of this issue with wisps of pale pink tinting to otherwise dominant vivid orange-red color. Provenance: From the Alan J. Harlan Collection. Earlier from Heritage's Baltimore Signature Auction of March 2009, lot 212; Heritage's sale of An Important New York Collection, June 2018 Long Beach Signature Auction, lot 3793; Heritage's sale of the Ron and Van Clark Collection, January 2019 FUN Signature Auction, lot 3973. Combined PCGS and NGC Population: just 1 in all grades in the Deep/Ultra Cameo category. PCGS# 92247. NGC ID: 2299. Click here for certification details from NGC.
