Legendary 1895 Philadelphia Mint Silver Dollar 1895 Morgan Silver Dollar. JD-2. Rarity-4. Proof-62 (PCGS). A visually appealing coin for the assigned grade, the generally light silver gray surfaces exhibit enhancing blushes of iridescent gold toning that are more pronounced on the reverse. Sharply impressed and frosty in texture, the design elements contrast somewhat with mirror-finish fields. Obverse hairlines and overall muting to the finish serve to limit the grade, but this piece remains a noteworthy survivor of a key Morgan dollar issue. Provenance: From the Grossman Collection. PCGS# 7330. NGC ID: 27ZR. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
