1903-S Philippines Under U.S. Sovereignty One Peso. MS-64 (PCGS).

1903-S Philippines Under U.S. Sovereignty One Peso. MS-64 (PCGS). A premium example of both the type and issue, this wonderfully original coin needs to be seen to be fully appreciated. Dressed in a gentle mottling of pearl gray, steel-olive and rose-gray, both sides also reveal strong underlying reddish-apricot iridescence as the surfaces rotate into direct lighting. With a sharp strike and full endowment of softly frosted luster, this smooth-looking example has the quality and eye appeal to suggest an even higher Mint State grade. Lovely! PCGS# 90382.
