1908-S Indian Cent. MS-64 RD (PCGS). Vivid mint orange color with hints of deep olive. The strike comes up a bit short in a few isolated areas, but is generally bold to sharp. The historic 1908-S is the first mintmarked cent issue in U.S. coinage history; survivors are eagerly sought in all grades, especially those at the finer Mint State levels. Provenance: From the Collection of Gary T. Athelstan. PCGS# 2234. NGC ID: 2296. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
