Obv: Bust left with legend EST-ZAN-LOPA - NAVAJO around, inscription and artist's signature at lower left GANADO / ARIZONA / SAWYER / 1904. Rev: Blank. Edge: Marked (copyright) 1913 at 6 o'clock. Est-Zan-Lopa was a young Navajo girl from Ganado, Arizona whom Sawyer documented in his writings as "a little girl basket weaver" (or blanket weaver). The portrait was modeled directly from life during Sawyer's 1904 trip to the Navajo reservation. The green cardboard box is printed in gilt lettering on the lid EST ZAN LOPA / NAVAJO. It is a bit tattered, yet complete. (Total: 1 medal; 1 box)
