1916 Ban Johnson and Charles Somers autographed Cleveland Indians sale related document. Legal document executed on February 24, 1916 transferred ownership of the Cleveland Ball Club Company to Ban Johnson. By the end of that winter the team would be owned and under the control of James Dunn, it seems likely that this interim agreement was a formality done as part of the process. Signed on the second page by both Johnson (8/9 out of 10) and Somers (6, some smudging). Two legal sized typewritten pages are bound in a slightly larger paper folio.
