1917-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar. Reverse Mintmark. MS-65 (NGC). OH. This handsome, fully original Gem Uncirculated example is peripherally toned in mottled rose-russet and softer champagne-pink patina. Essentially brilliant in the centers with strong, frosty mint luster and a sharply executed strike throughout. Scarce and highly desirable quality for this underrated condition rarity among early date Walking Liberty half dollar issues. Provenance: From the Mack C. Chase Collection. PCGS# 6573. NGC ID: 24PU.
