1919 Walking Liberty Half Dollar. MS-62 (PCGS).

1919 Walking Liberty Half Dollar. MS-62 (PCGS). A lustrous coin for the assigned grade with bold visual appeal. The surfaces are pleasingly smooth with just a bit of pale sandy-gold tinting in areas precluding full brilliance. The strike was sharp enough to outline Liberty's thumb and partially define the central skirt lines over her thigh, as well as some of the tiny feather definition on the eagle's rear thigh. An impressive BU example of this coveted issue in the early Walking Liberty half dollar series. Provenance: From the Collection of Gary T. Athelstan. PCGS# 6577. NGC ID: 24PY.
