1959 Scootacar Mk I

One of about 1,500 produced; an exceptionally scarce microcar. Formerly of the Bruce Weiner Microcar Museum. Equipped with 8.5-hp, 197-cc Villiers two-stroke single-cylinder engine. Seats the driver atop the engine; designed around the silhouette of the mounted driver!. Unusual construction, with lightweight fiberglass body bonded to a steel floor pan. Impossibly cute!.
