1960s American vitrified china plate produced for use aboard the N.S. Savannah, the first nuclear-powered merchant ship launched in 1959. The circular plate features a stylized atomic motif in blue and red beside the ship's name, N. S. Savannah, in dark red cursive script. The underside bears a printed black mark reading MAYER CHINA Co. USA FURNISHED BY MINNERS & COMPANY NEW YORK CITY 260.
