Wine bought in Campo Viejo winery in Logroño, Rioja, in 2007. Stored in private cellar up to today. Very good storage conditions This is a very rare 57-year-old traditional Rioja wine was produced in a limited edition by Campo Viejo winery. Fermented and matured for 12 months in a big wooden vat and then aged for 36 to 40 months in cask. Racked 6 times, once every 6 months, using the traditional cask-to-cask Riojan method. Currently, it would be classified "Gran Reserva" by the Regulatory Board of Rioja. 70% tempranillo, 30% garnacha, mazuelo and graciano. Bottled in July 1974 directly from the barrel (not filtered) and placed on the market in 1977. *** All international parcels are shipped to the highest professional standards via premium UPS International Express, the courier’s fastest signature-required service. Each shipment is prepared in a specialist wine box officially certified by UPS / DHL, with every bottle packed individually and protected in three layers of bubble wrap. Given the nature of fine wine and the value of the consignments, all lots are shipped with full insurance coverage. ***
