1970 Joe Morgan All-Star Game professional model baseball...

1970 Joe Morgan All-Star Game professional model baseball bat (Pete Rose Collision with Ray Fosse Game). Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measure 34 1/2” long and weighs 31.7 ounces with model number S44 stamped on the knob end. Special “All Star Game” and “Cincinnati 1970” stampings on the barrel. The bat shows some ‘possible’ use including surface wear and rack marks. Morgan collected one hit in two at bats scoring a run in a thrilling NL extra inning victory that featured the iconic play in which Pete Rose barreled over catcher Ray Fosse to end the game. Very fine Morgan game bat with added desirability of Cincinnati being the venue for the All-Star Game in 1970. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions and letter of provenance from Theresa Morgan: EX
