1974 – Fantic Caballero 125cc RC, Frame No. Fantic TX151 Engine No. 2450

French vehicle registration certificate (without MOT) Founded in 1968 in Barzago, in the province of Lecco (Italy), Fantic Motor quickly established itself as an iconic Italian off-road brand. From the very beginning, the manufacturer developed lightweight, sporty and accessible machines, designed for both young riders and competition. The brand made a name for itself particularly in regularity rallies, enduro and trial, where its successes played a major part in building its international reputation. The first Caballero 50 appeared in 1969 and became the brand’s true symbol. With its small two-stroke engine, its silhouette inspired by off-road motorbikes and its sporty character, it offered young Italians a genuine adventure machine at a time when motorcycling was experiencing a tremendous boom. Its highly recognisable styling, with its knobbly tyres and off-road-style equipment, quickly contributed to its success. Even today, the name Caballero remains at the heart of Fantic’s identity. The modern range deliberately draws on the design cues and spirit of adventure found in the historic models. 21 chevaux, a 5-speed gearbox, 98 kg and a 14-litre fuel tank… The Fantic Caballero is the one for you.
