With its low center of gravity, shaft drive, and sophisticated engineering, the GL-1000 offered an unusual combination of smoothness, performance, and long distance capability. This first-year example is presented in largely stock configuration, benefiting from the desirable addition of a fairing for improved weather protection and highway comfort, together with modified luggage from a Moto Guzzi California.
