The second year of the Australian nugget gold coins, these two proof coins are 1/10th and 1/4 oz (.9999 fine gold) and come in a special presentation box made from the Australian Jarrah tree. The mintage of the proof coins was much smaller than the BU coins, with only 2,690 two-coin sets being produced. It is both scarce and and stunning and has always carried a premium
