Here is a splendid bottle of Sassicaia 1988, considered an exceptional vintage produced by the famous Tenuta San Guido. Being prior to the birth of the DOC Bolgheri (1994), the label bears the historic classification "Vino da Tavola di Sassicaia", a detail highly sought after by collectors of the early Super Tuscans. Level of fill: Excellent (Shoulder / Neck level). As visible from the backlit photos, the liquid level is excellent for a wine of almost 40 years. Conditions of the label: Excellent, the paper is clean, perfectly intact and fully legible. Condition of the capsule: Original (with the star logo), intact and in great condition. Drinkability condition: Since this is an historic vintage wine, the bottle is sold as a collectible piece. Despite the excellent cosmetic conditions and fill level, it is not possible to guarantee with certainty the perfect drinkability of the current contents.
