1990 Henschke Hill of Grace Shiraz - Eden Valley - 1 Bottle (0.75L)

As one of the oldest family wineries in Australia, Henschke has been producing wines in the Eden Valley (Barossa) region since the late 19th century. The Henschke family vinicultural tradition spans six generations, with vineyards in Eden Valley, Barossa Valley, and Adelaide Hills, including the renowned single-vineyard sites Hill of Grace and Mount Edelstone. This lot consists of a bottle from the Hill of Grace vineyard of the legendary 1990 vintage. It is a Shiraz wine with a beautiful deep crimson color, ruby highlights, and brick reflections. Its captivating aromas of blackberry, blueberry, and freshly cut plum are complemented by notes typical of five-spice blend, black pepper, violets, smoke, mushrooms, wet earth, and cedar. On the palate it is complex and elegant with age, bursting with flavors of dark forest fruits and star anise, balanced by a fine acidity and velvety, multi-layered tannins that give exceptional depth and persistence. A bottle for lovers of unique, unrepeatable wines. It has always been stored in a climate-controlled cellar (16°C) with proper humidity for optimal preservation. The label and capsule have small tears from having been kept in a cellar with 85% humidity, but both the cork and the color of the wine are in perfect condition.
