1998 Château Canon-la-Gaffelière Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé – 0.75L USA export bottle. A rare and fully mature Right Bank Bordeaux from an outstanding Saint-Émilion vintage. The 1998 is widely regarded as a benchmark year for Merlot-based wines, delivering depth, elegance, and long-term balance. On the nose, it shows classic mature aromas of rose petals, ripe plum, cherry, cigar box, smoke, and subtle herbal notes. The palate is round, soft, and seamless, with fully resolved tannins and a long, refined finish. Drinking at or very near its peak.
