1999 Aston Martin V8 Volante LWB

1999 Aston Martin V8 Volante LWB

1999 Aston Martin V8 Volante LWB - One of the 3 examples sold new in Belgium - Only two Belgian owners from new - Superb original condition, less than 50,000km from new - One of 25 left-hand drive cars built This car is one of the 64 V8 Volante LWB (Long Wheelbase) cars built, of which 25 had left-hand drive and only three were supplied new in Belgium. Its first owner, Stefaan Verstraete, a resident of Flanders, wanted a genuine four-seater convertible and this model, with its long, wide body, fitted this requirement perfectly. Ordered from the Garage René Michiels, the Aston Martin dealer in Tisselt, in Belgium, it was delivered in November 1999, finished in the elegant shade of ‘Pentland Green’ with ‘Magnolia/Forest’ leather upholstery, green carpets and a matching hood. It was subsequently regularly maintained by Aston Martin Belgium and remained in the Verstraete family until 6 October 2017, when Thierry Dehaeck bought it with less than 40,000km recorded. The last production Aston Martin hand built at Newport Pagnell, the V8 Volante was extremely luxurious, with burr walnut trim, a stereo system, air-conditioning, electric memory seats and an electric hood, while under the bonnet was a V8 developing nearly 350bhp, making it one of the fastest open-top tourers in the world. Thierry Dehaeck’s V8 Volante has a recorded mileage of less than 50,000km today and is sold with all its original documentation: the owner’s manual, instructions for the CD changer and Alpine radio, photographs taken during the production of the car at Aston Martin, the sales invoice when it was new for 8,409,500 Belgian francs, its original warranty card, service bills, sales brochure and a certificate of conformity from Aston Martin. In incredibly well-preserved original condition, this car is exceptional in terms of its rarity, exclusivity, performance and sumptuous equipment. Please note that there is a mistake in the printed catalog, the Belgian registration certificate is currently being processed and will be provided to the buyer as soon as possible following the sale.
