19e eeuwse handgemaakte Kastanjepan / Beddenpan - Pan - Copper

Handmade bed pans from the period 1850-1900. Beautiful combination of red and yellow copper and a fine piece of craftsmanship by a coppersmith. It was filled with hot coals from the stove and tucked under the blankets to preheat the bed. That can still be done, of course, but it is also perfectly suited for roasting chestnuts. Nice to use, for example, outdoors on the barbecue or stove. These are usually used for wild chestnuts, which are a bit sweeter than ordinary chestnuts. This lot has been carefully cleaned and will be carefully packaged, sent by registered and insured mail (with a Track & Trace code so you can track the shipment). Pickup in Ridderkerk, South Holland, is also possible. I have tasty hand-ground coffee.

Estimate:£0.84
