A 19th C. finely detailed oil on canvas, White Mountain landscape believed to be Conway Meadows, depicting an expansive mountain valley, with a winding country road descending through a densely wooded foreground toward a verdant pastoral landscape with fields, distant settlements and ranges of blue and violet mountains in the distance. Signed lower left, Wood 1880. Presented in a period-style gilt wood frame. Image 18” x 29”, Frame 22” x 33.5”.
