19th Century Italian School - Maritime Scene

Descriptio Oil on canvas. Dimensions: 45 x 35 cm (canvas only), 63 x 52 cm (framed). A splendid 19th-century oil painting on canvas depicting a landscape overlooking the Ligurian Sea. At the center of the composition, two human figures stand, one of which seems to point determinedly at the vast expanse of the sea in front of them. This gesture evokes a sense of adventure and discovery, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the evocative panorama unfolding before them. Two boats can be distinguished in the blue sea, lending dynamism and an aura of mystery to the maritime scene. The trees on the ground naturally frame the composition, accentuating the visual depth of the landscape. The warm, luminous palette used in the work transports the viewer on a sensorial journey along the shores of the Ligurian Sea. This lot is in an international warehouse (within the EU).
