The Poggio di Sotto Decennial represents a unique and now legendary bottle: it was released as IGT because the Brunello consortium’s governing body deemed it not sufficiently typical for the designation, probably due to the fact that it is the best vintage ever produced by Palmucci (then owner). Extraordinary wine in an exceptional magnum version: very high quality and a splendid color. The bottle was purchased at release and has since been kept motionless in the cellar.
