2003 Achille Boroli, Villero - Barolo DOCG - 1 Magnum (1.5L)

Villero is one of Castiglione Falletto’s top vineyards in terms of quality and exposure. The soil is clay and limestone, with a southern to southwestern exposure. This mix ensures Barolo Villero is powerful, structured, and aromatically deep. Thanks to long maceration, the tannins are smooth and polished. The 2003 Barolo Villero is full-bodied and displays a broad extraction of fruit, with a pleasant presence of both savory and sweet tannins. A wine of great significance that, over time, can and will fully reveal its potential. 90 pt Wine spectator
