2011 Bertani - Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, Classico - 3 Bottles (0.75L)

Bertani – Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2011 – Lot of 3 Bottles Prestigious lot composed of 3 bottles of 0.75 L each of Bertani Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2011, one of the most representative labels of the historic Veronese cellar. The 2011 vintage earned 93/100 points from Robert Parker – The Wine Advocate and is classified by Bertani with 5 stars. It is a Amarone of great structure and complexity, produced in the traditional style that has made the winery famous. The Bertani Amarone is made from Corvina Veronese and Rondinella, hand-harvested and subjected to a long natural appassimento (withering). The vinification is followed by a prolonged maturation in large Slavonian oak casks, which allows the wine to develop complexity and longevity while preserving the character of the territory. The aroma profile of the vintage presents ripe cherry and sour cherry, dark fruit, spices, cocoa, tobacco and balsamic nuances. On the palate it is full and structured, with mature tannins, good freshness and a long, persistent finish. Wine and winery history Bertani is one of the historic wineries of Valpolicella, founded in 1857 by brothers Gaetano and Giovan Battista Bertani. Throughout its history the winery has contributed significantly to the diffusion and enhancement of the traditional Amarone style. The production philosophy has remained closely tied to using naturally dried grapes and long aging in large Slavonian oak casks. The Amarone Classico represents one of the house’s symbolic labels and is distinguished by its ability to combine power, elegance, freshness and longevity. The 2011 vintage fits perfectly into this tradition, offering a structured and complex wine that can further evolve with time. To drink now or to keep Drink now or further aging. The 2011 is now at a good maturity stage, but it still preserves structure, freshness and tannins sufficient to allow further bottle aging. It is therefore possible to taste it today, preferably after a short aeration, or to keep it for several years in optimal conditions. It is recommended to store the bottles horizontally, away from light, with stable temperature and no vibrations. Shipping method The three bottles will be carefully packed with professional wine-specific materials, using shock absorbers and individual separators. The shipment will be made via trackable courier, with reinforced packaging designed to minimize the risk of breakage or damage during transport.
