The 2015 is considered a vintage of great quality, characterized by favorable weather conditions that allowed perfect ripening of the grapes. Antinori describes the vintage as having great aging potential. The vintage has received excellent recognitions from the international critics: • Wine Advocate: 97/100 • James Suckling: 97/100 • Antonio Galloni: 96/100 The wine presents a rich and complex bouquet, characterized by notes of ripe dark berries, tobacco, roasted coffee and leather. On the palate it is structured and vibrant, with tannins present but well supported by the freshness. The finish is long, spicy and fruity. Guado al Tasso is an important Bordeaux-style blend from Bolgheri, produced mainly with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, with the possibility of a small percentage of Petit Verdot depending on the vintage.
