Raineri, Barolo "Castelletto" 2018 Description Producer: Raineri Wine: Barolo “Castelletto” Vintage: 2018 Number of Bottles: 6 Size: 0.75L Grapes: 100% Nebbiolo Aging: the wine ages for 24 months in French oak barriques (25% new) Alc.: 14,5% Color: Garnet red Aromas: Violet, dried rose, balsamic notes, mushrooms, ripe fruit, tobacco Taste: Dry, very intense and persistent, tannic, full-bodied, harmonious, and balanced. The stems are removed during crushing, and the must macerates in steel tanks for approximately three weeks at a controlled temperature (28°–30°C). Following about two months of malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 24 months in French oak barriques (25% new). No filtration or fining.
