2019 Antinori

The Masterpiece of a Legendary Vintage The 2019 Vignaferrovia is not just a wine; it is the liquid expression of one of the greatest vintages ever recorded in Montalcino. Produced by the prestigious Antinori estate (Pian delle Vigne) only in superior years, this single-vineyard Riserva originates from a 4-hectare plot adjacent to a historic 19th-century railway station. It represents the perfect marriage between Sangiovese’s raw power and Antinori’s signature elegance. Why this bottle is a Must-Have: Sensory Profile: An aristocratic bouquet of Marasca cherry, sweet tobacco, and balsamic undertones. On the palate, it is dense and velvety, featuring vibrant acidity that guarantees an extraordinary evolution. Aging Potential: A monumental structure that makes it enjoyable now (after decanting) but built to thrive for the next 20–25 years. Investment Status: A "Blue Chip" for Brunello collectors, combining the global prestige of the Antinori brand with the exclusivity of a limited-production Cru Riserva. Critical Acclaim & Scores The 2019 vintage has captivated the world’s leading wine critics: 98/100 – James Suckling 96/100 – Robert Parker (Wine Advocate) 96/100 – Wine Spectator 95+/100 – Vinous (Antonio Galloni)
