All auctions / Wine & Spirits / 2019 Nativ

History of the wine/winery: Società Agricola Nativ was founded in 2008 by vintner Mario Ercolino and Roberta Pirone. The winery is located in Irpinia, Campania, and focuses on indigenous grape varieties and the volcanic terroir of the province of Avellino. Eremo Nero is made from Aglianico from the Irpinia Campi Taurasini DOC appellation. The 2019 vintage was awarded a gold medal at the Berliner Wine Trophy 2025. To drink or to keep: The wine can now be drunk, preferably after about one to two hours of decanting. Thanks to its structure, tannins and barrel aging, a correctly stored bottle could presumably continue to mature for several years. Indicative drinking window: now to about 2030–2032. This is an estimate and not an officially stated drinking window. Shipping method: Will be shipped in the Nativ wooden box shown in the photo. Surrounding it will be an outer carton and protective material for shipping. Further shipping method to be discussed.
