2021 Kloster Eberbach Assmannshäuser Höllenberg...

Kloster Eberbach represents more than 850 years of winemaking tradition. The historic monastery's monks recognized early on that the climatic conditions of the Rheingau region were ideal for producing exceptional wines from locally grown grapes. Pinot Noir has been cultivated in Assmannshausen since at least 1507. The vineyard, with slopes reaching gradients of up to 65%, is characterized by remarkaby uniform, violet-hued phyllite slate soils. Our VDP.SEKT.PRESTIGE from the Höllenberg vineyard combines Burgundian elegance with a refined, well-defined structure. Notes of bread crust, delicate brioche, hibiscus, and blackcurrant lend depth and finesse. The gently pressed heart of the cuvée and extended ageing on the lees ensure precision and a smooth, creamy texture, before the lingering mineral finish. A distinctive Blanc de Noirs with character, vibrancy, and refined balance. Estate bottled and shipped by Kloster Eberbach. Excellent condition of bottle, label, capsule and cork. Drink now or hold.
