2023 Domaine Deleu

Discover Rocca 2023, Domaine Deleu’s white wine, a property located in Condrieu, at the heart of the Northern Rhône wine landscapes. Aged under the protected Geographical Indication Collines rhodaniennes, this wine clearly expresses the Viognier’s personality, the emblematic grape of the Rhône terroirs. The 2023 vintage offers a seductive and expressive white, marked by notes of white peach, apricot, pear and white flowers. On the palate, the Viognier brings notable roundness, a silky texture and a persistent aromatic finish. It is a generous, charming wine that is immediately appealing, designed to accompany both a friends’ aperitif and a meal with Mediterranean or lightly spicy flavors. This Rocca white highlights a hillside terroir on the outskirts of Vienne and Condrieu, an area known for growing Rhône varietals such as Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne. The IGP Collines rhodaniennes notably authorizes the production of white wines from these varieties, making it a beautiful entry point to the great expressions of the northern Rhône Valley. To serve chilled, between 10 and 12 °C, it will elegantly accompany sauces on fish, creamy poultry, a mild curry, Asian cuisine or characterful cheeses. Its aromatic profile and freshness also make it an excellent choice for an aperitif. This wine is ideally enjoyed young, to fully enjoy its fruit and floral aromas: plan a potential aging window of about 3 to 5 years under proper storage conditions. A 75 cL bottle, perfect to enrich a Rhône white wine collection or to offer as a regional gourmet gift.
