2pc La Ibero-Tanagra and Santa Clara Spanish Transatlantic Maritime

Two pieces of mid-20th-century Spanish maritime ceramics produced for the Compania Trasatlantica shipping line. The lot includes a small white porcelain cup and a rectangular china opaca ashtray, both featuring blue transfer-printed decorations. The cup is decorated with the circular Compania Trasatlantica logo and a single blue pinstripe at the rim. The base features a black printed mark inside a rectangular border that reads FABRICA DE / PORCELANA / SANTA-CLARA / VIGO, with the name Alvarez printed in script below. The rectangular ashtray has a fluted exterior rim and four corner cigarette rests. Its decoration includes the central shipping line logo and four corner motifs: a caravel-style sailing ship, a steamship, a ship wheel, and crossed nautical flags. The base of the ashtray bears two printed marks: a blue mark reading FABRICA DE LOZA / 'La Ibero-Tanagra' S.A. / SANTANDER and a green crest containing the letters I and T, surrounded by the words CHINA, OPACA, and SANTANDER, with the numbers 53 61 below.
