A Wedgwood bone china cup and saucer set featuring an octagonal form. The pieces are decorated with a hand-enameled armorial crest, likely commissioned for the Middle Eastern market. The crest depicts two golden lions rampant flanking a central medallion containing Arabic calligraphy in red and blue script. This medallion is topped with a crown, a crescent moon, and a star, set against a background of red flags and a floral garland. The cup includes a fully gilded handle, and both pieces feature gilded rims. The underside of each piece bears a printed brown maker mark featuring a stylized urn above three stars and the word WEDGWOOD. Both items retain circular black and white collection stickers for the Rubin Collection and handwritten inventory labels indicating a date of circa 1900.
