A beautiful selection for collectors of Italian minerals and small high-quality Quartz crystals. Origin: Selvino, Bergamo, Italy Mineral: Natural Quartz Total weight: 6.79 g / 33.95 ct Quantity: 19 specimens Dimensions: from 4 to 19.6 mm Condition: Natural, mixed crystal quality as shown Treatment: None NOTE - Why is it called "Herkimer Diamond"? This crystal is commonly called "Herkimer Diamond" due to its natural shape, transparency, and brilliance, but it is not a diamond. It is a unique variety of double-terminated quartz, originally discovered in Herkimer County, New York. This name is now used more broadly to refer to crystals with these same unique qualities, regardless of their origin. Highly suitable for collectors, jewelry makers, metaphysical uses or resale. ***All photos were taken using lamp light, with professional photographic lenses, to enhance the colors and also the details and imperfections of the gem.
