3pc Cunard White Star Line RMS Queen Mary 1936 Maiden Voyage & 1967

This exceptional, high-value maritime archive bridges the complete operational history of the legendary RMS Queen Mary from her inaugural launch to her permanent retirement. The pinnacle of the lot is the official Maiden Voyage program dated Wednesday, May 27, 1936, featuring its original brown-toned geometric cover art, a loose artist color sketch of the vessel by W. Thomas, and verified passenger listings for prominent figures on board, including actress Anita Louise, automotive heir Horace E. Dodge Jr., Mrs. Joseph P. Kennedy, famed photographer Cecil Beaton, and international shipping magnates Antonio Cosulich and Alberto Dodero. The mid-career luxury of the line is represented by the premium Cunard White Star Guide to Cabin Accommodation featuring a striking gold-toned cover with a deeply embossed stylized illustration of the liner's iconic three-funnel silhouette. The archive concludes with the rare 1967 passenger list booklet for "The Last Great Cruise" to Long Beach, California, under Captain John Treasure Jones, documenting a historic passenger roster and elite roster of live onboard entertainers that featured actress Lynne Redgrave, television host Bert Parks, real estate titan William Zeckendorf, and legendary crooner Vic Damone who performed live for guests during the final transoceanic voyage.
