3pc Japanese Showa Period Sumo Banzuke Ranking Sheets Group

A group of three Japanese sumo banzuke (official ranking sheets) printed on paper, dating to the late Showa period. The primary large-format sheet features dense kantei-ryu calligraphy, commonly referred to as sumo-ji, which lists the professional hierarchy of wrestlers, referees, and elders. A printed date line at the bottom right indicates Showa 63, February 29 (1988). The two smaller folded sheets bear multiple blue ink hand-stamps on their reverse sides, including Takadagawa-beya (Takadagawa stable) and the name Takadagawa Kazuichi, referencing the stablemaster and former Ozeki Maenoyama. The stamps also include addresses for the stable in Edogawa-ku, Tokyo, and Matsubara City, Osaka. Dimensions: 17"W x 22.75"H Weight: 4 oz. Condition Request Condition Report Good
