A trio of Mexican high-fired stoneware serving pieces designed by Ken Edwards, featuring a large oval platter and one round server, and one circular shallow bowl. Each piece is decorated in the Tonala style with hand-painted bird and floral motifs in sage green and earthy orange-brown tones against a light gray-blue glaze. The design includes textured fat glaze accents on the flowers and bird wings. The undersides of the circular bowls bear hand-painted marks in brown pigment including the name Chapalita, a circular logo containing the letters KE, Mexico, and a stylized scorpion device.
