This collection consists of three commemorative ceramic items produced by Wedgwood, reflecting both royal milestones and historical partnerships. The first piece is a Queen's Ware fine earthenware mug designed by Keith Murray to celebrate the 1937 coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. The cream-colored vessel features dual bas-relief profile portraits of the monarchs and exhibits Murray's signature Art Deco style with a ribbed base and geometric angular handle. The underside is marked with a commemorative stamp including the monarchs' names, the date 1937, and a printed Keith Murray facsimile signature. The second item is a cobalt blue Jasperware miniature plate produced for the 1977 Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. It features a white sprigged profile portrait of the Queen above a banner inscribed 1952 Silver Jubilee 1977, enclosed by a laurel leaf border. The third item is a primrose yellow Jasperware miniature plate issued for the 21st Wedgwood International Seminar in 1976, hosted by Belk in Charlotte, North Carolina. This plate depicts a white sprigged profile of Queen Charlotte, patron of Josiah Wedgwood, within a laurel border. The reverse of the yellow plate features a black printed mark for the seminar and the Belk corporate logo. Rubin Collection stickers are present on the undersides of the mug and the yellow plate.
