40+pc Collection of Mid-Century Canceled Stock Certificates

A collection of over forty vintage common stock certificates from various American retail and industrial companies, primarily dating from the 1960s and 1970s. The group includes certificates for The Grand Union Company, incorporated in Delaware, featuring a blue border and central vignette of allegorical figures; King's Department Stores, Inc., incorporated in Delaware, with an orange border depicting a seated woman before a skyline; and Food Fair Stores, Inc., incorporated in Pennsylvania, with blue and yellow borders showing an industrial train scene. The documents bear printed signatures of company officers and stamps from transfer agents including Chemical Bank and The Chase Manhattan Bank.
