46.60-Carat Kunzite Loose Gemstone Group

ESTIMATED RETAIL PRICE: $4,750* *This is the estimated value a piece of similar quality, craftsmanship, and characteristics could command at retail. Three loose kunzite gemstones totaling a monumental 46.60 carats, cut as cushions and steps. Kunzite is pleochroic — it shows different intensities of its lilac-pink depending on the viewing axis — which is why cutters orient large stones so carefully and why examples of this size reward close inspection. Offered unmounted, the group gives a designer the freedom to build around the stones rather than inherit someone else's setting.
