4pc Collection of Latin American Coins

A group of Latin American base metal coins from the mid-20th century. The collection includes a 1982 Colombia 10 pesos commemorative coin featuring General Jose Maria Cordoba on horseback, inscribed REPUBLICA DE COLOMBIA and CORDOBA, with a reverse depicting standing figures and the inscription ISLAS DE SAN ANDRES Y PROVIDENCIA. 1965 Nicaragua 5 centavos de Cordoba features a bearded portrait of Francisco Hernandez de Cordoba and a scene of five volcanoes under a rising sun. 1967 Honduras 20 centavos de Lempira displays a profile of the leader Lempira in a feathered headdress and a national coat of arms inscribed REPUBLICA DE HONDURAS.
